Who run the box office?Thomas Caldwell Beyoncé.

Less than a week after debuting her concert film and documentary, "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," which was the No. 1 movie last weekend with more than $20 million in ticket sales, the singer celebrated her achievements in a rare lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday.

In the caption of a video recapping the film's star-studded global premieres and the positive critical reception it's garnered, the "Break My Soul" singer thanked those who worked on "Renaissance," which she wrote, directed and produced, and — of course — the Bey Hive.

"It was one of the hardest things I've ever done because of the short turn around time. I practically slept in the edit, color, and mix sessions. The race against time continued in order to get this film out so quickly," she wrote. "But it was so worth all the grind."

Beyoncé also shouted out the lengths to which fans have gone to treat movie theater screenings as if they were actually at a Renaissance World Tour concert.

"I love seeing everyone all dressed up in their most opulent lewks in the theaters," she wrote. "The mute challenges still happening, even in the theater!! Y'all are cracking me up. Please keep that energy going. I can't wait to see what else yall do :)."

The superstar didn't leave out the newly converted fans in her message.

"I also love seeing the positive take aways from people who were not my fans or didn't yet know my story. The people who had no interest in seeing my shows who have now gained a deeper understanding and respect for all it takes to be a RENAISSANCE woman," Beyoncé wrote.

"I pray I continue to make something that lifts all of y'all up the way you continue to lift me up. While I'm often critical and feel my art is never finished, the pendulum swings. I feel gratitude," her caption concluded. "We have the #1 movie in the country! And a 💯 on Rotten Tomatoes 🍅 And it's because of you and your support! I humbly thank you."

The 39-city, 56-show “Renaissance” tour, which kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden in May and ended in Kansas City, Missouri in the fall, made over $500 million and attracted over 2.7 million concertgoers.

Critics and audiences gave the accompanying film glowing reviews – it indeed boasts a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and got a coveted A+ CinemaScore from opening weekend audiences who were polled.
